As part of Mastercard’s In Solidarity commitment with Los Angeles, which aims to close the wealth and opportunity gap for Black communities, Mastercard and Master Your Card partnered with the Los Angeles Community College District (LACCD) to host a Financial Literacy Fair at the Los Angeles Trade Technical College on September 24, 2021.
During the event, Master Your Card experts and partners delivered financial education workshops and an informational session about the fee-free Angeleno Connect banking service platform. The workshops provided key information about Electronic Payments, “Mastering your Financial Mindset” and Building Financial Foundations and Entrepreneurship. Over two thousand LACCD students, families and other community members attended the day-long event.
Guest speakers included facilitators from World of Money, EVERFI and NFTE (Network for Teaching and Entrepreneurship).
Attention Los Angeles Community and LACCD Students
