Master Your Card & World of Money

World of Money was founded in 2005 and is a New York City based non-profit organization whose mission is to empower youth with a sound financial education.

Over 5,000 youth between ages 7 – 18 and their families have received World of Money’s annual 120 classroom hours of financial education, youth business pitch competitions and parent forums. This approach has steadily broken a generational cycle and changed the way youth and their parents understand their money.

Their immersive curriculum equips children with five tenets for a financially responsible and philanthropic life:

  • Learn
  • Earn
  • Save
  • Invest
  • Donate

Their financial presenters are stellar Wall Street professionals, business and legal leaders. Via 24 coalition partners, World of Money provides youth with a financial education mobile app. The app is being utilized by these national, local, regional and global organizations in Senegal, Ghana, South Africa, China, India and Rwanda.

The World of Money mission is to give young people, ages 7 -18, empowering financial education to survive economic roller-coasters by using their innate intelligence and creativity to expand their access to the free enterprise system beyond that of consumerism, but to disciplined saving, and the understanding of investing in capital markets.

In addition to the Money Track curriculum, youth are taught the importance of philanthropy and that they must be the change they seek in the world. The World of Money guides our youth toward community service from beautifying parks, delivering meals to seniors to Operation Santa campaigns.
