UnidosUS, formerly the National Council of La Raza (NCLR), is the nation’s largest Latino civil rights and advocacy organization. Founded in 1968, they have contributed to a stronger America by elevating the voice of Latinos and defending and advancing their community’s concerns. Today, they remain steadfast in their mission to realize a day where all Latinos thrive, and their contributions are fully recognized.

They serve the Hispanic community through research, policy analysis and state and national advocacy efforts, as well as in their program work in communities nationwide. They partner with a national network of nearly 300 Affiliates across the country to serve millions of Latinos in the areas of civic engagement, civil rights and immigration, education, workforce and the economy, health and housing.

UnidosUS works to improve opportunities for Hispanic Americans. Through its network of nearly 300 affiliated community-based organizations, UnidosUS reaches millions of Hispanics each year in 41 states, Puerto Rico and the District of Columbia. To achieve its mission, UnidosUS conducts applied research, policy analysis and advocacy, providing a Latino perspective in five key areas—assets/investments, civil rights/immigration, education, employment and economic status, and health. In addition, it provides capacity-building assistance to its Affiliates who work at the state and local level to advance opportunities for individuals and families.
