Mastercard was proud to co-sponsor the 50th Annual National Education Conference of the A. Philip Randolph Institute’s (APRI). APRI is the senior constituency group of the American Federation of Labor and Congress of Industrial Organizations (AFL-CIO), with 96 chapters in 29 states and Washington, D.C advocating for social, political and economic justice for all working Americans.
Over the past several years, Master Your Card has been a natural collaborator with APRI and its President Clayola Brown on advancing the needs of its members through sound financial education. Through the partnership, APRI has empowered its members through the distribution of the APRI/Master Your Card tool kit. These tools provided an opportunity to bring financially underserved young adults and seniors into the modern economy, giving them greater buying power and making financial security a reality.
