National Association of Women Business Owners

The National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) was founded in 1975, serving as the unified voice of 10.1 million women-owned businesses across the United States. NAWBO represents the interests of women entrepreneurs across all professional industries, earning the reputation of being a one-stop resource to propelling women business owners into greater economic, social and political spheres of power worldwide.

As women entrepreneurs continue to make a huge impact on local and national economies, NAWBO seeks to create innovative and effective change in the business culture—which would allow women better opportunities to reach their full economic potential. NAWBO recognized an ideal partnership with Master Your Card—whose mission to empower people within their own communities with information and strategies for greater business success—perfectly aligns with their own. Both NAWBO and Master Your Card’s programs work to develop active partnerships with small business owners, leaders and organizations. These efforts help gather input about small businesses’ needs, allowing NAWBO and Master Your Card to work together in developing innovative solutions and educate business communities on the most efficient ways in using payment technology to succeed and grow.

In support of NAWBO’s efforts to help their members create and sustain their businesses while encouraging broader access to leadership opportunities, Master Your Card worked with NAWBO in creating customized educational materials. This online content series includes five short webinars that cover a range of topics including the value of card acceptance, how to get the best deal from a processor, how to read a monthly processor statement, and other common questions and challenges. These webinars are intended to be an additional resource for business owners regardless of where they are in the development and growth of their small business, and for local chapter leaders to use as an educational tool. They are readily available to NAWBO members through the website.
